Chiropractor Josh Koenig D.C.
Chiropractic Helped My Migraines
Playing football in high school Dr. Josh experienced some injuries that left him with painful migraines. After months of taking medication without any relief, his mother convinced him to see a local chiropractor. His migraines disappeared after a few weeks of consistent chiropractic adjustments and he hasn’t had one since. That was over fifteen years ago.
Treating the Cause of Pain
Before becoming a family chiropractor, Dr. Josh had been working in a pharmacy for three years. He would see the same revolving door of people come in for medication refills each month. He was alarmed and concerned by the use of prescriptions to cover up their symptoms and not fix the deeper problem. By learning more from his chiropractor, Josh discovered how chiropractic treatments address the root cause of pain to give real life changes. The treatment of diseases without the use of drugs to simply mask the pain sparked the desire to pursue a career in chiropractic care.
Trained to Analyze Health
Dr. Josh attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, which is known in chiropractic circles as the “Fountainhead of Chiropractic.” The college was named after it founder, D.D. Palmer, the inventor of chiropractic treatment. At the Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Josh learned about the motion of each muscle and joint to enable him to analyze and adjust specific areas of the body. By working in a community outreach clinic during his time at Palmer, he was able to treat patients who couldn’t afford chiropractic care at the school clinic.
Dr. Josh was also chosen to join a trip that opened a free clinic in India, where he treated children and adults at no charge. The group spread chiropractic care to more than 10,000 people!
Enjoying Our Local Area
In Dr. Josh’s spare time, he plays intramural sports including football, softball and basketball. He tries to stay as active as possible outside of his family chiropractic practice. Originally from Fort Dodge, Iowa, Dr. Josh fell in love with Plymouth after moving there to work with a number of well-known chiropractors in the Hartford, CT area. He enjoys fishing in our beautiful ocean and hiking in Vermont and New Hampshire. In the summer, you can find him on White Horse Beach, soaking up the sun.
Supporting our local community is important to Dr. Josh. He is a big brother in the Boys and Girls Club. He also serves on the local board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the YMCA in [PJ]. Dr. Josh started Hope for the Holidays, a charity that partners local businesses to offer support to a local family in our community in December.
Chiropractor Victoria Roth D.C.
Eye Opening and Pain Healing
When Dr. Victoria was a preteen, she injured her back while competitive dancing. A friend’s mother suggested she see a local chiropractor, and little did she know that suggestion would change her life forever. After just a few weeks her back pain was gone. But to her and her mother’s surprise, the chiropractic adjustments started to help her chronic asthma symptoms as well. Over time, these symptoms disappeared completely, and she was amazed and eager to learn more, even at such a young age.
Not only did her regular adjustments reduce her back pain and asthma symptoms, but it also made Dr. Victoria more aware of her body. This led Dr. Victoria to become a healthier person by making better life choices. Once she started at Koenig Chiropractic, she learned more about Ideal Protein®, which supports her interest of helping people become their healthiest.
How I Ended Up at Koenig Family Chiropractic
Dr. Victoria graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic located in St. Louis, MO. While in school she served as a Senior Chiropractic Intern, extensively treating the general public at the Logan Southfield Health Center with chiropractic care using her hands to assist in the art of healing. During her final trimester, she moved to Kingston, MA for another internship opportunity. Once Dr. Victoria fulfilled the graduation requirements for the completion of her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree, she joined the Koenig Chiropractic family. Specializing in pediatric adjustments and health and weight loss, Dr. Victoria is the perfect addition to the family chiropractic team.
Chiropractor Connor Campbell D.C.
A Minor Car Accident and a Major Life Change
While in college, Dr. Conor was involved in a small car accident. He experienced minor pain in his low back at first, but over time the pain became unbearable, causing him to need a pillow for support when sleeping. After just a few visits to a chiropractor near his hometown, his pain diminished and eventually disappeared. He’s been pain free ever since, which opened his eyes to the world of chiropractic care, and Dr. Conor hasn’t looked back.
The Journey to Becoming a Doctor
Dr. Conor graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in Kinesiology. After his minor car accident, he became interested in the chiropractic field, which lead him to apply to Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. While in school he worked in multiple clinics, and was able to treat homeless people and recovering drug and alcohol addicts in the St. Louis area. Dr. Conor was also given the chance to travel to Costa Rica where he continued his education by helping under-privileged communities get the chiropractic care they needed.
Enjoying the Outdoors
As a Maine native, Dr. Conor learned to love outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, biking and trips to the Atlantic coast. Growing up, he learned to work with his hands helping out his father in the construction business. He also found a passion for playing soccer, ultimate Frisbee and playing the guitar.
